A popular dish among the Filipino market is lechon manok, or spit-roasted chicken. Both delectable and affordable, it’s a go-to for anyone looking for a great dish to serve to their families.
One popular brand that highlights this is Baliwag Lechon Manok at Liempo, which from a humble offering of their chicken, has now grown into a franchise of delicious dishes!
When it comes to Baliwag’s outlets, there are actually 3 types. Baliwag has the Grill & Restaurant, which is a sit-down type of establishment, a Take Out Kiosk, and Food Court Outlets. The most often people see in their respective neighborhoods are the Baliwag Take Out Kiosks with over 350 outlets nationwide!

Best Seller on the Baliwag Take Out Menu
Baliwag’s best seller dish? A flavorful, spit-roasted chicken or Lechon Manok as Filipinos call it, cut up into easy-to-eat pieces, and served with an all-around sauce made with liver! Given that the Baliwag Take Out Kiosks have a smaller space and manpower needed, it’s no surprise that their prices are cheaper than the Grill & Restaurant.
The price of one order of roasted chicken (good for 4) in a take out kiosk is only P290.00 while it’s P345.00 in the dine-in restaurant! This really helps when you’re looking for some good food to take home to the family. If you’re looking for variety, they also have pork dishes, like liempo (P260.00), crispy pata (P450.00) or pork barbeque (P33.00 per piece).
For those looking for easy home cooked food, Baliwag has ready-to-heat packs too! For their take out meals, they offer classic Filipino dishes such as Beef Caldereta (P270.00), Lechon Paksiw (P200.00), Dinuguan (P170.00) and a Bicol favorite Laing (P170.00)

Baliwag Grill and Restaurant Menu
Whether it’s the Restaurant or the Take out Kiosk, what remains famous, is Baliwag’s Lechon Manok. But what’s great about the restaurant is they also offer other classic Filipino dishes!
A filipino classic they have is the sizzling plate, where the dishes are half-cooked beforehand, and then finished on a hot plate that keeps the heat, and the flavors intact! Some great dishes they have using this are their Shrimp Gambas (P325.00), their Guising Guising, a great vegetable dish with coconut milk (P240.00), or their Tanigue Steak (P280.00).
Are you looking for a quick snack? We know how important merienda is to the Filipino, and Baliwag knows that too! Try out their Bihon Guisado, a great dish with vermicelli noodles, stir-fried in vegetables, chicken and pork, for only P170.00! They also have a flavorful Chicken Arrozcaldo or Goto, both for P110.00! Actually, all of their snacks are below P200.00, making it well within the budget for a good meal with a great price!
Baliwag also offers great chicken and pork dishes! You might want to try their juicy, buttered chicken, which you can order in half, for P285.00 or whole, for P485.00. Another crowd favorite is their lechon kawali, which is both crispy, juicy, and great when you have a reason to celebrate, or maybe if you just want to have some fun (P255.00)! Are you a bit exotic? They also offer lamb, depending on its availability, cooked in ways that celebrate Filipino cooking, like Adobo, Kaldereta, or Papaitan!
